IOWA OUTDOOR PRODUCTS is proud to offer a wide selection of high quality northern grown trees, shrubs, and perennials. With fresh plants arriving monthly there is always a nice selection to choose from. We stock shade and flowering trees, 1 to 5 gallon perennials, unique evergreen topiaries, and of course Boxwoods, the little black dress of plant material!
BULK MATERIALS
IOWA OUTDOOR PRODUCTS offers a variety of bulk and bagged mulch, rock, soil and compost. These products, which are essential to keeping your garden healthy, can be picked up from our convenient loading yard, or take advantage of our delivery service, available six days a week.

DELIVERY PRICING
Prices do not include installation fees. We have no minimum for delivery, but we do have a maximum of 5-ton or 10-yards of material per trip. We do deliveries Monday through Friday, however we CANNOT promise an exact time of day. Bobcat delivery dates will need to be approved before scheduling an exact day.
One yard of mulch will cover approximately 100 sq. ft., 2-3" deep
One ton of rock/soil will cover approximately 90 sq. ft., 2-3" deep

WARRANTIES & RETURNS
WARRANTIES
Plant material installed by Iowa Outdoor Products, which fail to live one full year from the date of planting, will be replaced ONCE. Homeowner shall pay the current labor rate to replace the plant.
Plants installed by homeowners do have limited warranties, contact our garden center staff for details.
**THERE ARE SOME EXCLUSIONS, AND SOME ITEMS ARE VOID FROM WARRANTY**
RETURNS
Garden Center merchandise may be returned within 30 days of purchase.
Plant material may be returned within 3 days of purchase.
Hardscaping material may be returned within 15 days of purchase, however there will be 15% restocking fee.
To receive a full refund items must be returned in the same condition they were when they left the store. All returns are subject to an assessment of condition from an IOP retail manager prior to any approval of return, exchange or store credit.
A receipt is required for all returns.
All sales (30% off or more) are FINAL and sold as-is.
HELPFUL FORMULAS
AREA
Rectangle: length x width
Right Triangle: 1/2 (length x width)
Circle: radius x radius x 3.14
MULCH COVERAGE
Take the area (in square feet) divided by 100. This equals the number of cubic yards that you will need for a 2-3" depth of mulch coverage.
Ex: Your garden bed is 10' long and 5' wide. Multiply 10 by 5, which equals 50. Then divide 50 by 100, which equals .5. This means that you will need 1/2 cubic yard of mulch to cover the bed at a thickness of 2-3".
Pine needle mulch uses a different coverage rate. One bale covers approximately 25 sq. feet at 2-3" depth.
ROCK & DIRT COVERAGE
Take the area (in square feet) divided by 90. This equals the number of tons that you will need for a 2-3" depth of rock coverage.
Example: Your landscaped area is 30' long and 6' wide. Multiply 30 by 6, which equals 180. Then divide 180 by 90, which equals 2. This means that you will need 2 tons of rock to cover the bed at a thickness of 2-3".
OTHER INFO
There are 9 bags of mulch (3 cu. ft. bags) per cubic yard.
One 3 cu. ft. bag of mulch will cover approximately 15 square feet at a 2-3" depth.
There are 2000 pounds in 1 ton.
To find the weight of a granite boulder: take its length x width x depth (all in feet) x 180. This equals the weight of the boulder (in pounds).
